I was here last year at this time, but sadly we lost our son to Trisomy 18 at 32 weeks about 9 months ago.

Congrats and welcome back! I am so sorry to hear of your loss...there are no words. A close co-worker of mine gave birth to a T18 little girl and lost her 3 days after. Just heartbreaking. We have our level II u/s scan and amnio Tuesday after next. I am praying that all is well but I am getting nervous already.

I'm so, so happy to see you here, Jodi. That baby you're carrying, you, and your family SOOOO deserve you to be here! I'm well, thanks for asking. Baby Joey is well. Our family is well. I go for a tubal ligation Friday and although we have consciously chosen to have no more children, it's still somehow sad for me. It's just so.....permanent. Our children bring me so much joy and so much love -- love that I never knew until having them, but I know our patience (and our bank account, lol!) are better off with no more than the three we have. I look forward to your updates and I wish nothing but the best. Be well, Jodi, and be happy. : )
