Need advice for new seat

My Britax Marathon is expired and I need to buy a new seat for my son. He just turned four and weighs around 30lbs. Are there any carseats out there that are a convertible seat that can turn to a booster when he gets bigger? Since he won't be in the convertible seat for the life of the seat, I would like to find something he can use up to 80lbs. Seems like I have heard of a seat that converts.

Thanks :-)

You really need a combination seat - one that goes from harnessing forward-facing to a booster seat. A convertible car seat is an option

Hi, I just got the Britax Frontier yesterday, (have not installed it yet). Anyhow it is $279 at Babies R Us and through tomorrow they have the trade in deal going on so you could trade in your expired carseat and get 25% off the Frontier or any other seat you want...but you need to

I just received by Maestro from Amazon. It was 59.99 with free shipping. I also have a 30 lb 4 year old. She's only 37.25 inches but all her height is in her legs. Her shoulders are at the very first slot with 4 more slots to go. I love it already and so does she. It goes up to 50 lbs harnessed which i'm thinking will be plenty for her. I put her in the Graco Nautilus and i thought it was overkill even though it would last 9 years (the no back booster part).

Good luck!
