Just kinda lurking here in the 2ww from my last fresh IVF cycle - we have 2 on ice and then onto donor egg. This process is so hard. I have no idea what it is like to be pregnant - at 39 1/2. I did 1 fresh and 2 frozen when I was 28 years old and they didn't take either. I just hope, hope, hope that donor will work for us if this doesn't. . . I think I will be so devastated if not because for us this is our last step in this painful journey.
My RE in Phoenix tested me for PAI-1 and it was too high so had me on Heparin and Metformin. Finally this cycle RE here agreed to the Heparin.
Did a bunch of research today because I constantly have to have a plan B because I just can't accept not being able to give birth and have a child for myself and DH. Attain IVF program seems to the be way to go but there was one shared donor program that looked promising too - I'm in Orange County, CA - any advice for programs in this area? I'm totally depleting the last of my life savings for this - no insurance that covers infertility as a small business owner most of my adult life.
Am I crazy for starting this research while still in the 2ww - or just obsessed!!

1st IVF January 10 negative after 3 perfect blast - one frozen
Feb 10 begged OB/Gyn to do surgery for "pain" to see if tubes blocked from PID back when I was 16 - yep both tubes blocked - unblocked 1 tube
May 10 IVF #2 - 3 eight cell transferred neg again
8/27/10 started stims for IVF #3 of 3-cycle package-last chance of fresh then do frozen - then donor
Trigger: 9/7/10
ER:9/8/10 - 9
ET: 9/13 - 3 embryos (2blast and 1 morela)
Beta: 9/23/10

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome - looks like I will be here - another BFN - f*ck, f*ck, f*ck!! I hate this process and want to go to an option that give me more of a % of success.
I have 2 blast frozen - should I do that first - or move straight to donor? I can't handle another 2ww with a negative!! It is too hard emotionally and physically!!

I'm in Calif too - LA county, but I only did a small bit of research on donor egg because as soon as we saw the $$ we knew we couldn't swing it.
