I'm not on here much (with the triplets, life has really changed to super busy).

They think the low iron is caused by the bleeding.

Patricia-

Sorry to hear that you are having these issues with Harrison. Do they think the blood is related to the low iron or something else? I am wondering if the ped has talked about eliminating wheat products from his diet. I know that Andrea just had this with one of her boys and he was diagnosed with Celiac disease--I am hoping that maybe she will pipe in with her experience. I know he is doing much better now.

I don't know much else about the issue--but maybe trying going gluten free for a while might help?

GL! :)

Hi Patricia!!!!

Aidan had blood in his stools for months...we did everything we could to eliminate it & it was TOUGH...I did the dairy free while breast feeding...didn't help..they tried numerous formulas & it ened up being Neocate that got rid of it...I really think that this was the beginning of all of our feeding issues.....I tell mommas all the time, if your baby EATS...you are lucky!!!!!!!

I hope everything works out!!
