Bipolar Chat

Hey everyone!
I'm trying to start hosting a weekly bipolar chat sometime in December/January. What I need to know is this...
How many of you would participate and what your preferences are for when the chat is held. I can't do during the day on week days, but I could on Sundays during the day.
Let me know if you're interested, your preferences, etc. Would you prefer to have open chat, or have a particular topic to discuss? How about both? Its YOUR chat, so be open with your ideas and let me know!
Hugs,
k.

Keli-
I have been wanting a bipolar chat for over 6 months now. I think it would help bring alot of us together and to be able to chat live and get an immediate response would be great. Sundays are fine with me or a time in the evening during the week. My biggest problem would be if I am at my bf's and his computer decides it doesn't want to work then I am out of luck. I think you should do it when you and everyone comes up with a time that is good for all. Sundays is cool though. I will definately be there when I can get to a computer...either mine, my bf's or the library. I am excited about the bipolar chat!!!:-) Doing an open chat or/and a topic chat is cool with me. I guess if a topic chat is going on make it were people can still talk about a crisis or a concern if need be. Also, you could...if you can...do an open chat on one day and a topic chat one evening. Maybe that is too much. I am sure others will have better suggestions...right now I am a little overwhelmed with things so I think my mind is off a little... LOL. You could also start a poll to see what days are good for everyone and if they prefer open chat or topic chat. I am going to go check my e-amil and see if you replied to me and I will send you an e-mail back on your home e-mail addy.

Hi Keli
I am relatively new here but a regular on the Sexual Abuse Healing board chat line. I have learned so much and had so much support from the women on the board. We are a great group who understand and can show support in ways no one else can. We also get different people on the chat than on the board. I guess some folks like that format better, so it is helpful to so many more women.
I am only recently dx'd but would love to have a chat to talk to others who understand the 'ups and downs' of bipolar. I would prefer an open chat so that everyone can bring whatever is foremost in their life at that time, good or bad.

Hi Sarah! Thanks for your reply. I agree about open chat. Who knows from one day to the next how we're going to be feeling! Just look at me for an example!!!
How are you doing??
Hugs,
Keli
Keli,
You might want to check the archives of the board (maybe mid-Sept/early Oct) for a poll I did regarding chat times/days.
