Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I thought this would be a good question to ask. I know a lot of us aren't in good places right now. If you don't want to answer, please don't feel you must. But there are so many things to be thankful for this year for me....

1. I'm more stable
2. I am happier
3. I'm not suicidally depressed (thank God)
4. I've made AWESOME friends that I love dearly
5. I'm able to support others that are in crisis
6. I still have my great job
7. I am thankful for my DH who supported me thru my illness no matter what
8. I'm thankful for my DS who is a brat nonetheless, LOL
9. I can smile again
10. I can read books again
11. I'm thankful for my parents who are there for me
12. My brother didn't go to jail when he was in trouble and he went to rehab
13. My car needs work, but is paid for and still runs!!!
14. I have a nice townhouse, needs decorating, but that will come next year
15. I'm no longer OVER MEDICATED and a zombie
16. I have personality again
17. I laugh now and no longer cry all day
18. I'm working on my self-issues, but I've recognized them for what they are
19. My illness, Bipolar, no longer defines who I am
20. I've learned TRUE forgiveness

WOW! I'm sure there are lots more I could add here...

MOST OF ALL, I'm thankful for this board, and for all of you for helping me through my crisis when I needed you the most.

Love to all,

Keli

I'm thankful for my Mother still being with us. She's my hero. I'm thankful that I have my life (xdh could have easily taken that from me). I'm thankful for my friends on the board. I'm thankful that xdh is out of my life...........hopefully for good.

I'm thankful to still have what little bit of my looks I do have. Thankful for my apartment and my things. =o)

I'm thankful for my DD (even though we drive each other nuts) and all my fur, feather and prickle babies and of, course all of you and the few friends and family I can count on for support.

However, I'm especially thankful that two

Hi there!

I am a little late on responding to this but I count my blessings each day at not only on Thanksgiving :). I am most thankful for my stability. Over the last ten years since diagnosed I have had a rough ride but lately I am able to notice my triggers and to know my stessors and that I am very grateful for-that is half the battle in staying afloat!

I am thankful for my family and friends-including those here :)

I am most thankful this year that my dh and I are back together after being separated for about 7 months and we are both dedicated and determined to fight for our marriage :)

Love to all,
Carrie
