Hi all. I am back to post a quick update.

I have been quiet I know. I was put into the hospital a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't by my choice, it was by my DH and Pdocs choice.

Cyn,

I'm glad things are going a bit better--sometimes the hospital is the best place we can be to get stabilized, even if it ain't fun.

Cyn-

I am sorry to hear you are going through a hard time right now. I am glad you were able to get to the hospital to get stabilized. However, the pharmacy messing up your meds doesn't help your stability. I would call your pdoc and see if he can give you samples or at least write a letter to the pharmacy to have them expedite your meds to you. The girls have a wonderful mom and a smart one, so dealing with there Dx's and taking care of them I know you will do well. It is hard to hear when anything is wrong with our kids...believe me I know. A good thing is your are familiar with these illnesses and you know they can be treated.

I hope you are feeling better physically?

I have been struggling bad with depression. My pdoc finally changed my meds after alot of begging and it seems to be helping some. I do feel better then I did but I would love to feel even better. I have been having anxiety also with the depression. The pdoc has me on Cymbalta and klonopin now along with Lamictal and Risperdal. I hope this combo does the trick.

Hang in there and I hope you keep feeling better.

Tina~

I haven't been around much either (just popping in once in a while between studying for finals and getting ready for X-mas) but I just saw your post and wanted to lend you my support. Everything with your girls will be ok - do you realize how lucky they are to have a mom who understands the challenges of medications, and especially a mood disorder? My parents don't understand it at all and don't even believe I need medication...So your girls are very lucky to have such a well-informed mom who will make sure they get all the help they need. And, since they're both so young, they're getting a head start on getting things under control. I know people at school who are in their 20's and just now being diagnosed with ADHD - after struggling all through high-school and grade school.

*hugs* Hang in there, and make sure you get at the pharmacy to get you your meds! I have some Geodon here that I'm not taking (couldn't handle the side effects); I would E-mail it to you if I could!!
