Am I that far gone? - triggers

I have been trying all day to get through to my pdoc and tdoc to get help with my meds and the reactions I've been having to them, not to mention where my mood has been the past few days.

Sweetie,
Your pdocs failure to call you back has nothing to do with you personally--it's unfortunately a very common failure in the profession.

You certainly ARE worthy of help, and I want to second everything Marci said in her post. Keep trying your pdoc or tdoc for a call back. Or, if you are getting in too bad of shape, PLEASE go to the ER. Many of us here will tell you straight out - going inpatient has saved our lives. It is a REALLY REALLY difficult choice to make, and one that no one wants to make, but sometimes you need to. Do what is best for YOU...don't worry about anyone else's opinion or what they will say. Take care of you. It will all be worth it when you are stable again.
As for the rash - don't take any chances with it - I also do not know any history on what the dangers are associated with the rash, but why take the risk.
Good luck and PLEASE stay safe!!
Tracey
Foggy-
You are not too far gone and definately are worthy of help. I wish I could take your pain away. I agree with what has been said. Don't give up. You're worth it. Aside from keeping on the pdoc, and the ER option, how about your family doctor or a walk-in clinic?
You are not hopeless. You are not unworthy.
Keep at it.

Foggy,
I have nothing new to add...just want to tell you I think you're getting great advice from some very smart people who have been where you are now! I totally agree with them. You are, without a doubt, worth it.
My pdoc is wonderful and caring but, he does have a flaw. He is terrible for getting bogged down and not returning a call. I call him every hour on the hour until he calls me back. Do I make a pest out of myself? Maybe. Do I pay him for his time and does he work for me? YES! Remember you pay the guy! He works for you! That said...the hospitol idea is a good one. I have never regretted going in when I was done.
I also have to say that coming here for advice/to vent is a very healthy thing to do! I for one am very proud of you for that.
Last but not least...You Failed!?!?! Not at all. If you in anyway failed, this conversation would not be going on. You did all of us a great service by posting. You helped us know that we are not allone. I always say that this disease is not for cowards. You my dear are no coward. Again, I'm proud of you.
Guess I had alot to add!
Love to you,
Jamie
