New Years and setting goals

New Years is about setting goals and starting off with a fresh start. Remeber to make realistic goals. We want to set ourselves up to win not to fail. That may mean setting goals that are baby steps, but every baby step leads to the big goal. We have to be careful not to to put too much stress on ourselves IF we can help it. Stress triggers our illness to take hold on us. Making affirmations to make ourselves feel better and work towards our goals can be a start. I like this affirmation...I am capable of working toward my goals one step at a time...one day at a time...I will reach my goal with patience with myself and with the help of my higher power.

My goals are:

1. To work on losing weight more seriously.
2. To take the time and push myself to draw more because it is what I love to do.
3. To continue to work hard at being stable and being good to myself.

What Is your goal(s)? If you have decided what they are and even if your not sure you can share your thoughts of some goals you would like to make or thinking of making.

I wish everyone the best for the 2005 New Year. We all will be ok. We all deserve the best because we are deserving people. I love all you ladies because you all have become my friend. It is good to have such good friends. We all understand what the other feels and it is great to have a board like this to come to. Bless you all!!!

Agree with what you put about setting goals.


Mine are to start and continue with workbooks that my therapist the first time saw her.
