I've been under a lot of stress lately and it finally got to be too much and I had to stay home yesterday and just slept all day.

I'm right there with you.
I currently have a project position, I just had a review and I'm waiting for the promised salary increase which I assume will not be what I expected (not in a good way)
In the mean time, the entire project has been restructured, turned over to a new director, my supervisor changed, etc (I also work for the state)
I'm supposed to go out of town Saturday morning for a few days (without the hubby and kids) which means I know I'm coming back to a trashed house full of dirty laundry on top of the normal stress from traveling
On top of all that my best friend chose this week to decide that I was immature, loud mouthed and unappreciative.
Oh yeah---PMS too
Anyhow, I just wanted you to know that I'm right there with you. Do you have any good stress reducing tips? I'd like a couple of drinks too, but I have this rule about not drinking alone and no one else is here. :) Amanda

I think there is something in the cosmos this week....it's all over here too. The guys at work last work were nice enough to share their flu germs with me so I have been sick for a week. However, my delightful co-workers aren't smart enough to cover anything if I am not at work. For example, I stayed home Monday because I was so exhausted I looked like I had 2 black eyes. I forwarded an email (I was still logging into my work email) to a co-worker and asked him to advise a customer of a ship date. When I got to work on Tuesday, I saw he had emailed ME about the ship date. I asked him if he told the customer and he told me he had sent me an email asking if he should. Today, I felt so horrible I left early and came home to bed. Then, a different co-worker called me because she didn't remember how to do something and it was easier to call me then to look in the instruction book I gave her last month when I went on vacation. I could NOT believe it.

At this point, I am considering looking for a new job. I think everyone is struggling with something right now. But I'll send some {{hugs}} to all of you in hopes that SOMEONE has improvement soon!!!
