This is just my thought but your current mood stabilizer may need some more time in your system properly. Some can take up to 6 weeks to really work well.
I'm sorry you swinging so much and so drasticly it can't be fun. I wish I knew away to stop it. Have you tried exercising? (Don't Yell at me.) I'm sure you already thought of that. Do you read? (That doesn't sound right) I mean like novels etc. Maybe something like that can get you mind off of things. Or try busy work like Ironing or the wash or something. These are all stabs in the dark...they are some of the things I try.
