Looks like we're not going to get DD's back check so quickly, but it may end up being a good thing!

It sounds like, despite their best efforts against it, everything is starting to fall into place. Stinks that it took so long for that to happen, but hopefully things will go steadily uphill from here :)

Sounds like things are going to work out. Let's hear it for light at the end of the tunnel. (Thanks for making me laugh BTW). Good luck with the bankrupcy stuff, HMO and all that. Things will click into place (eventually)

YaY on getting a good SS guy! I'm sure that helps bunches. I hope your dd gets all the money that she deserves. She sound like a neat kid! Not many teens would offer to take care of house repairs instead of buying herself a car. Give her a pat on the back from me.

Good for you on the emergency check. Yeah for you! Are you having them withhold the taxes of are you taking care of that yourself?

It's a bummer on Medicare chewing up most of your raise. It's typical though. Get used to it. Our cost of living raises are usually eaten up by a raise in medicare.

I didn't think about your medicare being primary. Mine is secondary because my huband is working. Oh well...glad you could work things out with your docs.

Love,

Jamie
