Anybody know/remember me?...

I visit different boards, but don't really feel 'known' anywhere. Maybe it's just one of my moods.
Just for the record, I hate cars. I don't even drive and I have been involved in two car accidents in less than two years. Last Wednesday (nine days ago) I was hit by a car while crossing the street. I agree with the doctors, that I am really fortunate considering the severity of the accident, but it still sucks. I was able to walk away from the ER after five hours of x-rays with just bruised ribs, fractured sacrum and sprained ankle. I will have to see Physical Therapist for the ankle. Now I'm afraid about crossing roads. Just what I needed - one more anxiety.
On the positive side, my aunt is coming to visit on Sunday with her son and husband. She's from Massachusetts, where I grew up, and I live in Utah. I am so excited to spend time with her. We're good friends. I used to spend weekends and vacations at her home when I was a kid (all of six years ago). So at least I can visit with family while I'm in pain.
Thanks for listening, even if I'm a stranger/lurker.

Beth:
Of course I remember you!!! I'm glad you decided to post again, although I wish it had been all good - am SO sorry you were struck by a car. Thankfully, as you said, you walked away as well as you did!! :)

Hi Beth! Yes, I remember you. I'm so glad that you escaped with relatively minor injuries. How are you feeling today?

Beth,
Hi!
Love,
Thanks everyone for writing.
Guess I've gotten to feeling lonely from being stuck in the house.
I am feeling better though. I'll try to keep posting. The first few days after the accident I got sick to my stomache if I tried to use the computer. That was sure annoying.
Jamie - I wasn't the one in the news. I'm in Provo trying to be a student.
