Ok here goes, 1. My 2 cats *they are so loveable* 2. My car is finally out of the body shop 3. My children 4. It's almost Friday! 5. My whole family will be spending Easter together!
1. I can interact with adults at school today. 2. I almost have an A in class 3. My parents are loaning me the money for school so I can have a career 4. Things are going better between me and dh after 2 years of not 5. It is 5:45, I am up with 2 of the boys and not totally grumpy. BONUS: Diet Coke in the morning
Hmmm. Not hard to find things, but sometimes it's hard to narrow down general topics (like my son, my dh, etc.)
1. My ds is getting better about napping and sleeping without throwing a fit. 2. No more morning sickness!! YEAH!!! 3. I found my favorite maternity jeans - the kind I can wear with non-maternity shirts. 4. My cat, Meatball. He'll cuddle just to give kisses. 5. My dh and I talked about some very important stuff today. The talk wasn't positive, but getting it out in the open was positive.
1. Getting one essay done (of 4) 2. Getting an extension on one essay 3. Finally having a good birthday, even though I have been deeply depressed this last week 4. Friends, especially one in particular 5. Red balloons (don't ask)
I've already posted, but there's more to post, so...
1. My dh and I have been dealing with some issues of abuse (not physical, but emotional), and yesterday I reported it to our marriage counselor. She is willing to help us in such a way that she doesn't compromise her responsibilities in the situation, but she also makes the most of the resources we so desperately need. We desperately need parenting help. Neither of us had good examples in the parenting department (or marriage department, for that matter), but we can learn now...and that's what we're trying to do. Well, to make a long point even longer...the good news in all this is that we're finally able to get the resources we need while minimizing the possibility of undo punishment. That is a relief to me and dh!
2. My appetite has returned. No longer losing weight. I'd normally love to, but with the baby trying to make it, losing weight will have to...wait. I'm going to the gym with dh tomorrow, but it's to help him with his fit test for the military and to do some jogging on the treadmill. Keep myself healthy and the pregnancy will be even healthier.
3. My cat has been really healthy lately. I love him very much and want to keep him around as long as his fat body will allow it. He's almost 6 years old and he's got to be about 15 to 20 pounds. Big boy! We call him Meatball, just like the fat cat from Anger Management.
4. Today's my last anger management class. It's really helped me to learn coping strategies and perspective. Very good resource!
5. I was able to do my nails today. I'm weird about my hands. I've been cracking my knuckles since I was 6, so I have very fat knuckles. My lower fingers are about a size 6, but my knuckles are at least an 8 1/2. If my nails don't look good, I get insecure. But they look good, and it oddly boosts my confidence.
1. Someone believes in me
2. I really am trying to get through this stuff
3. I'm graduating
4. Someone said that I look like Neve Campbell
5. I was able to find positive things even being depressed
