Hi everyone,

I made this post a while back and I just don't know what is wrong with me....well I *know* what is wrong with me, I'm bipolar, but I guess I'm just frustrated with myself.

(((((Kathy))))))

im fairly new to this board also. i know how you feel. you can never imagine the love and support you get from the women on this board! when you have no place to go and no one to talk to, this is the place you need to be. you're talking to women from all over the country and sometimes it feels like im being embrace from every direction! its a wonderful feeling. we've ALL been where you are now and im giving you a great big welcoming (((((((HUG))))))!! you can "lurk" all you want too! but please know that we are here for you no matter what time, what day, what hour, there is always someone here to help you. all i can say is i find comfort and sisterhood here and i know you'll find it too!

Im giving you a great big ((((HUG)))) right now! welcome!!

Hi Kathie,

I just wanted to let you know that I feel the same way! I read a lot but seldom post... I just don't feel 'part' of the group, at least yet (I hope I will in the future).

There is so much to learn here and everyone seems very friendly and supportive. Just post when you can, or if you have questions and everyone seems to respond.

I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your anxiety...

I'm new like you are and I don't really post a lot either. I get anxiety before posting also. Sometimes it just helps if I only "proof read" my post one time so I don't really have time to change my mind. You're not alone in this.

The thing that really struck me about your post was you kept using the words "should feel...." Please try to just accept "This is the way I feel. Period." Once you accept that you feel that way instead of any other way, you can work with it. If you're always feeling like you "should" feel a certain way (or be a certain way, look a certain way, etc), you'll always doubt yourself because you'll think you'll never measure up. But that's just stinkin' thinkin'! hehe (I love Stuart Saves His Family. Very funny...and sometimes very true!) Once you say, "I feel (this) way." you can determine how you really want to feel and strive to do that. (Am I making sense? Sometimes it doesn't type as well as it reads in my head.)

Ya know, I've been on this board on and off for (I think) at least 6 months. Sometimes I still feel nervous about posting. I read my post over and think things like, "Will people understand what I've written? Will they think it's stupid and no big deal? Will anybody even respond? Would anybody care about this? Why would anybody care about this?" Stuff like that. But it's never been a bad response yet. People do understand, do care, do think it's a big deal and they do respond. Everybody on this board was accepting of me and my weird thinking since I first got here. I hope that, in your own time, you will find that to be true, also.
