Very long story short, 19mo ago I had a small bowel obstruction as a result from a complication during an exploratory lap. Well the past week I've been suffering some of the old symptoms again so I've been in and out of Er and dr's offices. My PA who I do not want to see anymore, going to find a new dr told me on friday it was gas, Well on sunday I went to ER, they actually did x rays and found I was impacted from one end to the other. Sorry some TMI here. They gave me 2 fleets enema's and that magnesium citrite to drink (yucky stuff) and none of it worked. The ER dr also suggested I follow up w/ surgery since we both decided we didn't trust my PA on this one. I saw surgery on tuesday and they did another set of x rays that looked identical to the first set so she gave me co-lyte or some of you might know it as go lightly, It's a very potent laxative and tastes HORRIBLE!!!!! I think it worked because I'm no longer in pain but my belly still looks a little swollen to me.
On top of that, my ds may or may not be allergic to peanut butter, the pediatrician said we'll test him at 6yrs old. Well he had a substitute teacher on monday that paid no attention during snack and my son got into the pb, It was very scary!!! We picked him up early, gave him some benadryl and treated him to lunch at burger king. He is doing just fine now.
Now we're in the middle of a wicked snow storm! School has been closed and I'm praying this stuff ends soon. The winds are very strong right now. I have an appt to get my hair cut tomorrow and I'm hoping the roads will be better by then, I hate driving in this stuff, gives me p/a
I am starting to get excited, I go to FL in 12days for a child free/dh free vacation w/ my dad
