If it helped or hurt. I know my med is being changed on Tuesday and want to be knowledgable about the options. I am on Geodon and it looks like Ablify is the same class.

How soon did it start helping and when did the side effects start, if you don't mind me asking. I started it yesterday and am a little nervous about it. I also am taking geodon at night. I am on 5 mg right now.

Thanks for the reply. I am on day 2. I don't think it is helping yet, but I also have not noticed any side effects either. I am hoping it helps. Today is not quite as bad as the last week, but am not sure if it is just a better day or not.

I have been on Abilify since before it was even technically released to patients. Trial by fire and error with these meds, you know? Anyways, it has been a wonderful med for me. I have been on it for I believe a little over two years now. Initially I remember some mild stomach upset/cramping, but other than that I didn't have a single problem with it. I didn't even gain a single pound from it. I still take the 15mg doseage to this day and it still works wonderfully.

I hope you find that it works equally as well for you and that you like it. Best of luck to you!

It made me incredibly restless. I was literally pacing because I couldn't sit still. I think it contributed to my anxiety (I have depression with anxiety) more than it helped.

Not one of my favorites.
