Can you guys give me some other

kind of support. I have celiac disease, which means I should be avoiding anything with wheat, barley, or oats in it. I have not been since November. I was on the gluten free diet for a year before that. I am starting to have some symptoms of problems with my stomach etc. I am desperately afraid of no med working on me because of my gut issues and the bipolar getting out of control even more. Besides having a noisy stomach during tests, my vision is funky, I am nauseous some of the time and feel like I have reflux. My iron is slightly lower than when I was gluten free, showin some iron non absorption. But I am not yet losing weight. For you studying to be doctors, how are meds absorbed? In the small intestines like food? Thanks for listening to me. Dh thinks I am nuts for wanting to restart the diet. It is very restrictive, but doable. I am hoping he will be at least a little supportive. I don't care what he and the kids eat. I just feel so unhealthy right now. Looking for anything that might help. The abilify is working some with no side effects. My vision and reflux feelings could be from the geodon, but I am scared to find out by giving it up at night. My vision feels almost dizzy, which is a side effect of geodon and I can't justify the reflux with it. Depression alone is a symptom of celiac. Thanks for letting me write this all out, even if it did not make sense to you, I see what I have to do. Of to the special order market tommorrow. UGH

I know how it feels to be dealing with two diseases at the same time. i have endometrosis which causes me extreme pelvic pain at times. the pain definately aggravates my BP.
i dont know much about your disease, but i can tell you this. All my doctors know about my problems. make sure you let your primary doc as well as your gastroenterologist, tdoc and pdoc and maybe together they can find something that will work for you and know what you are going thru.
as far as absorbtion i dont know.
i guess i wasn't much help LOL just wanted you to know that you have a sympathetic ear.
good luck and i hope everything works out

I too know about having two diseases....it totally sucks!!!!!! I have hidradenitis suppurativa, which is a disabling skin condition that causes lesions and pain with infection.
I would hope one of the pre-med/med students let us know about the absorption, that is an Excellent question.
