1. My entire family, including animals 2. My job 3. My friends here and the love and support I get from everyone!!!!!! That should be #1 4. My acceptance that I am indeed ill and need help 5. Country music and NASCAR. Oops that is two, but they are in a tie.
1. My counselor. She helps me with my marital issues, parenting issues, and PTSD issues. She's a livesaver - literally!!!
2. My husband just got out of a grueling work schedule and things are looking up on the career front. Major stressors out of the way!
3. My son is behaving better. On a not so good note, though. I think he does have BP. It's too early to really diagnose (he's only 19 months), but he's showing definite signs. We'll see. I just hope he doesn't have it!
4. I'm finally stable. I'm more stable now than I've EVER been. It's amazing! I can function and still be happy without being totally manic. I sleep at night! YEAH! I've a severe insomniac, so sleep is treasured!
5. My backbone. I've grown one recently with my parents. Tough. Been putting it off for 23 years. But I've finally done it and it's gone better than I thought it would. Yeah!
...Days til we meet Zoe!
...Days til Aryc officially hits his Terrible Two's! ;)
1. My Therapist - she's awesome. I don't know how I will cope when I have to stop seeing her. By this time it feels like she's a friend.
2. Modern Medicine - I am doing so well on my 'cocktail.' I would probably be dead without antidepressants. I think that I can call where I am at now 'stable.' Hooray!
3. Email - I live in student housing (for families) and when both you and your spouse are no longer in school you have to move. I have a lot of friends moving this week. It's so hard for me to see people that I'm close to go. Change is one of my problems that I have learned to cope with and being able to keep in touch helps me through transitions like this.
4. Nature - I love spending time outside, it's just so beautiful and usually perks me up a little when I need it. I'm not the running type, but I do like to birdwatch.
5. My cousins - the only family I have in state (excluding in-laws, that's an entirely different story) is my uncle, his wife and their four children. I love them to bits. Allison (2), Caden (4), Sarah (6) and Kyler (12). They're the best kids and they always get so excited when we come to visit. It's feels nice to be loved. And children sure know how to show that they care.
2. My wonderful support system I have with my family. I think my mom has talked to me 25 hours this week. My fiance is so busy working to support us both I try not to talk that long to him :-)... but he would if I needed him.
3. My silly little dog. She does the craziest things sometimes and you can't do anything but smile.
4. I have the oppurtunity to pay for COBRA insurance right now. Without a physchiatrist I would be lost to a hospital.
5. This as well as the OCD board. I am trying to be someone that listens.. as well as listened to.
