Seroquel???

I think the seroquel is the source of my constipation issues. When I went to FL I was bad and didn't take my meds every night as I was supposed to and things got much better w/ my bowels. Now I'm home, taking my meds again, not even the whole 700mg that I'm supposed to take and I know things are not going right in my intestinal tract.

Are there any other meds that can help me w/ the mania aspect of bp?

I started Lamictal about a month ago and am now up to 75mg, slowly working my way up but this problem was happening before the lamictal so I know that's not the core of my problem and things didn't get worse when she added it either. It's the seroquel, I know it is. I see her on tuesday, she is my p/tdoc and I always like to come prepared. She put me on lamictal at my suggestion, she had some meds in mind, i mentioned lamictal and she said that was the last one she was going to talk to me about and felt that was my best option so you see she listens to me but won't do what i want just because, lets face it she is the doc here.

Anyway, Any suggestions of things that have worked for you & NOT for you as well. I don't want a med that is going to make me gain weight, that is very important to me, yes I am very vain.

Opinions please!?!?

Hugs & Prayers,

Danielle

Danielle,

I'm having good luck with Risperdal. I take Risperdal to level me out (but it often made me slightly depressed or just blah, which I'm not okay with), and so I take Wellbutrin (to keep my level mood a good one). It's the only thing I
