Just keep on taking things bit by bit - remember the movie "What About Bob?" - baby step it!! If it is too hard to take things 30 min at a time, go to 15, or even 5. Don't look or think any further ahead then that. I believe Keli had a LOT of the same symptoms you are having when she was purging her meds too. It is a horrible horrible thing - but you WILL make it. We are all here to help you and rooting for you. Keep yourself from getting dehydrated and stay on a bland diet and clear liquids. If you are able to go to the drug store, buy some pedialyte freezies - they don't taste the best, but they will help settle your stomach and rehydrate you while adding electrolytes. Dry toast and applesauce and ginger ale are good when you are sick like this too. Just keep telling yourself that this is as bad as it is going to get and the next change is going to be for the better, even if you start to feel worse.
I have to reiterate what Keli told you...if you get to the point where you are not stable you NEED to go to the ER. They will NOT do any tests involving needles unless they need a blood sample - nothing with your back. No matter how bad things seem, they are not bad enough to be worth dying over. I know you have hospital issues, but don't think of it as going to the hospital - look at it as seeing your pdoc at a new location.
Hang in there and post post post as much as you need. Let us know how you are doing and what is going on with you.

Carla,
Remember to make a list of what symptoms you are having and exactly how you feel.
