When did you find out the baby is a boy. I thought it was a girl. I just wish you a healthy happy baby and a quick recovery for MOM! =o)

Hi, Carla! We had the ultrasound on the 4th of this month. I was totally convinced it was a girl. (long story why I thought so) Dh and ds were at the appointment, too. (Dh goes to every appointment, otherwise we reschedule.) The doc looked at the screen and pointed and said it was a boy. I just looked at him and asked, "Isn't that just the umbilical cord??" He said, "That's just wishful thinking." I said, "YEAH!" We were really disappointed. Having a boy is growing on us now, though. Partly because there's nothing we can do about it, and partly because there's a reason we're having a boy and not a girl. This one, we're naming him Vincent, seems much quieter than my first son, Aryc. Aryc was a soccer star from the beginning, but Vincent seems like he uses his hands more and he isn't as active (yet) as Aryc was. I think they'll compliment each other, rather than fight all the time. (Well, that's my hope!) But I'll still have a 2 year old (only by 3 weeks or so) and a newborn. Yikes!

Oh, and we're moving!!!! Good news! We're getting the keys to the new place between the 18th and the 25th. I'm hoping it's closer to the 18th than the 25th. My dh is in the Air Force, so we're just moving from a 2-bedroom house on-base to a 3-bedroom house on-base. But dh's testing for promotion on the 26th. LOTS going on this month!! So I hope we get the keys early so the moving can be done before his test.

Anyway. Thank you for the good wishes! I think I'll probably recover quickly. I can see my future sometimes, and I keep seeing a C-section for this one. He's already measuring big, and that's just going to increase quickly from now until birth. But the C-section I see is really healthy and goes well and he's like a 9 or 10 pound baby. We'll see, of course. It all has to play out first. Aryc was 8lb 8oz (and I'm fairly small!) and almost didn't make it out. Any bigger than that and it'll have to be

How do you clear your head to see things? Mom says I have the gift, but my mind is so clouded by bp, and xdh. I think it is wonderful that you are "looking" at Vincent already using his hands. I just am totally amazed at your gift. You are very insightful and it inspires me to learn how to clear my mind. Nobody else may know what this is, but Blessed Be. Carla

It's hard to clear my mind. When I try to meditate, I go out of body. hehe. Never have been able to meditate. I started going out of body when I was 6. That was prompted by things that have now landed me in sexual abuse survivors group, but I digress. Ya know, the visions just come to me. Sometimes I'll be thinking of something and then I'll have a really strong feeling about it and a vision, but not always. (I'm sorry I'm not much help here.) I've had trouble letting the visions come through, though. I often doubt them, wondering if it is my bp or something else. When I do that, the visions get weaker and I won't get any for awhile. The key, I think, is to believe what you see, no matter how "not right" it may seem, and worry about sorting it out later. Sometimes the most true ones have been the ones that seemed the most far-fetched. I do tarot for myself and others, too. It's another gift. I don't do a regular spread. My cards actually leap out of my deck (I've seen it!) and I get a vision in my head of where to put it. I'm not classic or structured in ANY way! hehe Now I feel closer to the group than I did! I'm glad I said something. Often I don't say anything about my religious choices or my abilities because it tends to alienate people. But I felt comfortable at the time, which is usually a good sign. I can do loooots more, but if you'd want to talk about that, I'd feel more comfortable with regular email, since it really only concerns us two and doesn't have anything (or much) to do with bp.

It's been great getting to connect with another one "like me". :) Tough to find, especially in the midwest like I am! I grew up in Green Bay, WI, and this kind of thing isn't exactly embraced. But it does run in my family. My mom and my aunt (her sister) are very strong, stronger than me if she'd (mom) ever admit it. She was "brain-washed" by my dad. (I don't use that term lightly. It was a literal brain-washing.) Anyway. Enough with all that, I guess. I'm manic today so I'm really talkative! Plus, it's payday!! YEAH!!! *mini celebration* so we can afford to buy milk now and pay for the movers.

Take care and Blessed Be! :)

I don't mean to intrude on your conversation, but I was just flipping through the posts and found yours. It seems a little out of place to me (in that I don't know what led to the post, not that it doesn't belong), but I'm a little disconnected to say the least right now.

I just wanted to let you know that "I'm one too" as my bumber sticker says ;)
