Stressing big time!!!

I can't for the life of me figure out why I am stressing to the point of passing out! I am sitting here at work trying desperately not to fall right down on the floor. This would be the third time in two months and they are not going to continue to tolerate it. I took four Trileptal last night on pdocs suggestion with absolutely no effect. I was sitll up half the night. I am trying to force myself to relax right now but within seconds I am tense again. Any quick ideas on how to de-stress before I pass out?? Again! I don't want anyone at my job to know I am feeling this way.

I took a stress management class a few years ago and I'll try to remember some of the things that they told us to do.

If you can listen to the radio, put it on classical music - sometimes this helps

If you can't close your eyes at your desk, go into the bathroom and close your eyes for a few minutes. (Make sure you're seated first - LOL)

If you are stressed, DO NOT drink caffeine. Get a bottled water.

If I remember more, I'll put it down - these are the only ones that have popped into my mind so far.

hey Jodie BTDT. what works for me is to put a cold rag over your forhead, and close your eyes and take really deep breaths. slowly inhale....slowly exhale. picture yourself on a beautiful white beach just you. the cool breeze blows thru your hair, your relaxed on a lounge chair. feel the sun on your body and it feels very good and then you feel the cool breeze and that feels good too. continue to inhale slowly exhale slowly. the cool rag on your head feels so good because of the heat. you have no worries, everythings fine, no one can see or touch you......your at peace.
