...the girls and I leave Germany. I am excited, and anxious at the same time. I am anxious because I want to get as much stuff done as possible so Rick isn't having to do a lot. The list that housing gave us of stuff that has to be done to the house so we can pass inspection is long and filled with some pretty stupid things. We have to move out the washer, dryer, and fridge and make sure they are cleaned out. We have to make sure that there is not one bit of dirt on the floors. The windows and screens have to be washed. That wouldn't be a problem, but I am at least

Congrats and good luck getting everything done.....OMG, my house would NEVER pass. My house is not messy but it would never pass that kind of inspection. What is the point anyway if a cleaner is coming in afterwards. Ugh, thank you for leading a military life. I think all of you who do are amazing. Not just the soldiers but the families too.

Oh Cyn I feel your housing pain. They are the biggest pains about moving out and you're right then they send in their own crews after you're gone and redo what you did, It's ridiculous! I've been lucky 2 of my houses have been closure houses so they required so little cleaning but my last house was all of 5yrs old so I had a ton of stuff to do. Do you find that they use cheap paint in housing? All of my houses except this one had cheap paint. Here I have semi gloss throughout the house. Just take it one step at a time and you'll do just fine : ) Maybe the girls can help you.

Hi Danielle,

Yes, I have found that housing has the cheapest paint. You go to clean a spot off the wall and you end up taking the paint with it. As far as the girls helping I would be happy if they would clean their rooms and keep them that way. LOL

We have to go through their toys again. We usually do that only once a year before Christmas, but they have way too much stuff that they don't even play with anymore. That is their one job that they have to help with.
How are you doing? It won't be long now before DH gets home.

Hang in there. If you need me, you know where to find me.
Love and hugs,

I'm hanging in there Cyn. Dh should be home 2 weeks from yesterday, so I'm starting to get excited. Once I get paid on the 14th, We have USAA and they pay a day early, I'm going to start preparing for his home coming. He got a 90 on his first test which I told him was awesome. One more test to go on the 22nd and then class is over. We're still trying to figure out what we want to do about getting out of CO, we're seriously considering pulling some strings and trying to get back to Andrews. I never thought I'd want to go back there but right now I do and dh agree's with me. DD leaves for FL on

Hi Danielle,

Hooray on your DH's test. I know you are proud of him. I hear that Andrews is a nice base. Rick and I have thought of going there ourselves. I know you will miss DD but the peace will help some.
Have a good weekend.
