Does anyone else have vivid dreams? There are times that my brain feels like it's taken a lunch break and I'm dreaming. I see something and it's deja voo. There are times I struggle to make sure what I'm thinking of has really happened or was it a dream. I don't know if I'm even describing this very well but if anyone has any imput please jump in and tell me. I'm feeling a little freaked out.

hey Vista, i know when i started taking all these crazy drugs, i would have the most vivid nightmarish dreams ive ever had in my life. most of them very violent. violent to the point where i actually woke up punching my husband! one time punching my bedside lamp it was totally crazy and it scared the heck out of me. i asked the BP board about this and found out it was somewhat standard. its the drugs. all that eventually stopped thank god. i don't know if i answered your question or not, i hope ive helped.

I'm with you on the dreams.
I love dreaming and I've always had vivid dreams, even before my medications. But since getting on them, I have noticed they've turned a tad violent which has made the activity slightly irritible. Where as before, my first kiss was probably the biggest deja-vu ever (as I had probably had a make out dream a few nights earlier and it seriously was spot on as I found out...), my dreams now involve me trying to get back at my ex, asking him very persistant questions about why he left me and using force to get the answer. What scares me is if the dream plays out in my favour, I wake up very content and when it turns out in his favour, it's a trigger.
I still love dreaming. Especially if he's replaced in the good ones by somebody a thousand times cuter.
Hi, Vista...I haven't yet gotten a chance to read through the other replies to your post...but I just wanted to let you know I've had a lot of those kind of dreams too. I can really relate to what you wrote...it is definitely a freaky thing to experience.
Could it be related to meds in your case? I know med changes have made my dreams even more vivid sometimes. But sometimes there doesn't even seem to be a cause...like last night, I had one of those kinds of dreams...even now it feels almost more like a real memory than a dream.
Hang in there...I hope that the dreams will let up soon for you,
Rose
