WOW, what a good question.

I have been depressed so it is hard to think of too much right now that is positive. I have come up with:

1.It makes more more in tune with my feelings
2.It makes me more compassionate to others feelings
3.It has brought me to this board to meet some really nice people.

Well, im extremely creative and productive when manic

my eyebrows are in the middle of my forhead because i laugh out loud

i get extremely......lets say excited.....and DH LOVES that!

it seems when im manic my psychic abilities are very sharp

i take doggie on really long walks and he LOVES that! (poor guy is stuck in backyard most of the time cause im too aggitated to walk him)

if you think i joke now, you should see me when im very depressed or really manic (go figure)

Well, I feel very un-informed about the whole bp issue, and haven't really thought about it being positive (but I'm trying).

I'm kinda in a place where it would be nice to have these 'manic' episodes...it would be very nice to have all that energy !!!!

What rocks about being bipolar? Mm. Not a difficult question, but it needs to be worded properly. I guess, in my case, when you are those manic episodes, and all your senses are working together to see the good in absolutely everything for absolutly no reason what so ever, THAT'S when it truly isn't all that bad to be bipolar.

Right now is a good example. I've been manic for about three days now. I got toncilitus, I'm in a hell of a lot of physical pain...but for some stupid reason, for quite a good portion of the day, I've been in a rather good mood.

And it just ain't going to quit for me, at least for a few days. I just found out about a planned concert weekend close to where I am later this summer. Three of my absolute favourite groups are playing. One of them I haven't seen live in over a year. The other two, I haven't seen live in 3 years. (Needless to say, when I go to shows, refer has never crosses my mind has an enhancement. :p)

well, i'll try this. i haven't been at it as long as some of you, so i'm still 'learning'. i guess the 2 things off the top of my head that are good about bp are:

1) it definitely enhances my creativity when i'm in the hypo-manic swing; and

2) it sharpens my "super-woman" skills;) lol! although tdoc has a problem with this, it helps me get the 50 million things a day done. from work, to house upkeep, to getting 3 kids here and there, finding time to study and then somewhere in there i manage to grab a few hours of sleep;)

have a great day all,
