About 2 weeks ago, DD FINALLY took her driver's test (after having her permit for a whole year) and passed with flying colors, she couldn't take the test in her old junker and has only had this car about 2 month!

Oh Marcy that is horrible!!!!! People can be such idiots sometimes. I'm glad that niether you or your daughter was hurt. The accident wasn't her fault so her insurance shouldn't be a problem. Hope she can get the car fixed soon.

Marci:

It's great to see you back on the board. Doesn't let dd's words upset you. I remember being that age and having an accident and thinking the same way...she was just upset and frustrated and lashing out at the safest person. Thank goodness the jerk had insurance! I would make certain to contact his agent in addition to your own. I was sideswiped by a guy in his brothers car that was insured by a similar sounding company (not even a national agency, just a small never heard of place) and they were dragging their feet and trying to put things off until I started calling them daily requesting status updates on the claim. Suddenly it was all taken care of - you know the saying - The squeeky wheel gets the grease" :)

Hang in there with everything. I know this is a horribly horribly difficult time for you, with dd leaving soon and everything else (esp. the meds) but you can make it!!!
