There was a blurb in the Washington Post Health section today about a study on fitness and getting sick. They tracked people fall and winter for 12 weeks.

I don't get sick too often although we are still in the calendar year in which my body was ravaged by the swine flu.

Overall, though, your bout with swine flu was so minimal compared to what it could be. I think it's, in part, because of your being fit.

I know someone else who swears by it, too. She uses it on her kids when they start getting sick and she said it's amazing.

My kids are pretty healthy, too. My daughter might get an occasional cold and my son is very much like me.

I can't even remember the last time I was sick. And I work in a school around 100's of kids. Another thing that matters, I think, besides eating right and working out, is not putting your hands in your mouth or in your eyes, etc, unless you've washed them. So I don't bite my cuticles while I'm at work - a bad habit of mine, or rub my eyes, things like that. I'm a total germaphobe when I'm out! Lol

If you don't get sick and you're near kids all the time, that says a lot!
