Reminds me of why one of the warnings on getting border collies is, "remember they re a WORKING dog!
I think one of the best things about various canine humor sayings is the way they usually refer to certain breeds in really accurate ways!!
I live in Southeast Alabama and we had a mini dachshund puppy when Hurricaine Ivan came through.
Well doxies are not supposed to be herding dogs and although they were bred to hunt badgers, they are not in the working group at dog shows, but rather the hound group.
That said, my Twinkie in most ways totally doxie behaved, did tend at times to herd me or my sister. Of course that
