Thank you for being such a nice person. You are truly a wonderful human being. Those people definately need all the help they can get at this point.

Marci, I think just "donating" your time and showing these folks that you care is plenty. These folks have had their entire lives uprooted and to assist them it took our government 5 days to actually get down there and the victims are being referred to as "refugees". They make it sound like they are illegal aliens or something. It took our government 2 days to get to the Phillipines after the Tsunami, yet 5 days in the wake of devastation in our own back yard. Sorry if I offend anyone, but it makes me ill to see the way our government is handling this whole ordeal. I was only able to donate $5.00 the other day, but I felt a lot better when I left the grocery store knowing I helped in some small way. My son just weeded through some old clothes that he's outgrown.........I'm donating them and I'm having the girls do the same.

I applaud you for spending the time that you did with the victims. They need to know that their country does care about them. That we will not turn our backs on them in their time of need.

Okay, I think I'm done now. Again, I apologize if I offended anyone as this was not my intention.

Hugs,
Traci
