well, i went...of course, i went...i always go...she asked me how i was...if i was any better...i said maybe a little...she said, but maybe not...i said, no, maybe not...she said, okay...i told her i was at the point where i wanted off these stupid meds...she said, she didn't blame me...

but in a nutshell, here's the deal...i'm coming off lithium...thank god...i can't be on 3 mood stabilizers, and i asked to come off lithium, and pdoc agreed and in fact was going to suggest it...so in about a week or so, i'll be off lithium...

i'm starting lamictal...she also put me on risperdal again, cuz i can't shake the "thoughts" and i can't...i did well on risperdal once for quite a long time...i am going to titrate up VERY VERY VERY VERY slowly on lamictal, so it will be a long time before i'm up to a therapuetic level of it...but that's cool...i'll still be on the prozac too, and the lamictal can help with the depression too once I get up enough in dosage levels. I hope it helps.

So, now, I'm on a whole pharmacy again, but I'll see. If it helps, it helps. If it doesn't I won't take it. I do know enough by now to know the difference.

I'm so tired. The fibro is wearing me out. Pdoc said she really wants me to work if I can. I agree. Staying home will cause me to get more depressed. She said if i just can't, by all means, stay home, but if i can, go. It helps in my case.

Oh well.

Hugs.

I am sooooo glad you went to your pdoc appointment. You are on the same meds as me...Prozac, Lamictal and Risperdal. So far I have found that combo to work well for me and I sure as heck hope it works for you. I will be praying for it to.

May all the angels above surround you and comfort you
God Bless you
