Hi all. I sure have missed you all. We are finally in GA and I have just a little bit more to do before I am completely moved in. We are renting a house off base. It is pretty nice. It is 1900sqft, all brick one story. It has the 3 bdrms and 2 baths we need. It is way better than the house we were in in Germany. It has a pretty decent sized yard so the kids and dog have room to play.

The girls started school that is right across the street from our house. I am able to watch them at recess from my living room windows. It is nice. It is about 20 minutes from base so Rick doesn't have that far to commute to get to work. My BP has not been as controlled as I need it to be with everything going on. My stupid ex-Pdoc didn't give me enough Seroquel to last until I could get to another doc. So for 3 days I went through Seroquel withdrawals that were horrible. I could eat. or move because every time I did I got sick.

We had a car accident when we were in Rock Hill,SC visiting family. Some guy smack us in the right rear passenger side. He would have t-boned us if Rick hadn't seen him and sped up. Nobody was seriously hurt.

Hey Cyn!

It is good to hear from you. It sounds like a wonderful place you are living at now. It is so cool that the school is right across the street from you.

Do you have a pdoc now? I hope so. It isn't good to stop any meds cold turkey. There is usually withdrawls from it.

I am so glad none of you were hurt in the accident real bad. How is Jackie? Is she ok emotionally from the accident? I would have wanted to hurt the person who hurt my baby too. How is her eye...is it healing ok?

Keep in touch and I am glad you are in a nice place.

Hey Cyn!

Been thinkin about ya lots! I'm so glad you guys got moved okay...now you can work on your BP. I've been going through hell and back with mine, but I think I'm going to live. Had about a 2.5 month depression...and it was a real bad one. Med change, you know the drill. I'm trying Lamictal, finally off Lithium. On Topamax trying to get some of the Lithium 30 pound weight gain off, ugh...and back on Rispderdal and Prozac. I swear sometimes!

Anyway, its good to have you back with us.

Take care, and see you soon. Hugs to the girls for me!

Love and Hugs,

Keli

Hi Cyn,

I was pretty new here when you began your move, but I do remember you.

I'm glad to hear that you made a successful move. Been there done that. My DH retired from the Marine Corps last year and it has been sooooo nice having him around and being able to plan things for the future.

I was sorry to hear of your car accident, but relieved that everyone is ok. Been there done that too! I was nearly killed in a head on collision with a drunk many years ago, so I was happy to hear that you all didn't suffer any major injuries.

Welcome back! Hope to see you posting often.

Hi Tina,

How have you been doing?
Jackie's eye is all healed. It only took about 2 weeks. They wanted to take her to the ER in a ambulance, but she was too scared so I took her. They did a lot of X-rays to make sure her eye socket, and cheekbone weren't broken. She is fine now, not one bit scared of being in a car, having bad dreams

Hi Marci,

I am sorry to hear that you had a car accident too. Our insurance company totalled out the car,and paid us more than I thought they would for it. The car was paid off so all of it went to us.
We had to buy a new car which I didn't want to do but hey right?

Rick is leaving next month for 2 -3 weeks, and is leaving again the beginning of next year for 6-9 months. This assignment isn't going to be easy on any of us. But it is his job, and there is nothing I can do to change it, so I will make the best of it.

How are you doing?
Take good care. ((((((Marci))))))
Love and hugs,

Cyn

Hi Keli,

I am sorry to hear of your battle with depression. I hope that the Lamictal works its magic for you. I have been on it for over a year now,and it has worked well for me. I am happy to be back. I have my house the way I want it mostly. The OCD has been hellish because I want everything perfect and I want it now. Which means I am working myself beyond my limits and I know I will pay for it in the near future. But my house will be perfect so what can I say?

Take care, ((((((Keli))))))

Love you lots,

Cyn
