Should I ask my doc about provigil

Well, the tremors are gone (I started cymbalta 60 mg about a week ago, and had tremors, which escalated into convulsions, then after I stepped down back to 30 mg, they went away), but now I have what i lovingly refer to as "zombification syndrome" (feeling like a zombie all day, no focus, concentration, or feeling whatsoever. If I wanted to feel like this, I'd still be smoking pot. No, not really, but you know what I mean. I have absolutely no energy. I'm currently on Cymbalta 30mg (working great for the bipolar II depression, but ain't doing jack squat for the anxiety), and seroquel (25 mg 2x a day and 100 mg at bedtime) (for those wonderful mood swings that my husband complains about all day) but I now don't even feel like a person, just a zombie-like zoned-out kind of feeling. For instance, if someone told me, "Hurry, I just spilled grape juice all over your carpet!", it would take me about 2 minutes for my brain to tell my body, "get the heck up and grab a paper towel!". If this doesn't make any sense, I'm sorry. I'm having a really hard time concentrating or making sense out of myself. I'm thinking of asing my doc for provigil to counteract the zombie mode and for the adhd I carried on with me through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. Maybe Strattera, but I've heard that can make you even more tired. Any suggestions?

when i was i/p the doc gave me a daytime dose & i could barely function & then was toldit was ok if i took my entire dose at night.
i really could tell the difference.my gp prescribes seroquel for SLEEP.
you might want to ask about that instead of adding a new drug.
Hello! My pdoc gave me some Provigil to take for a deep deep depression I was in where I was bascially not able to function like that. I took it, and man was I climbing the walls! I still keep some around though and take it from time to time when I am incredibly tired from the meds. Its a stimulant, a pretty strong one, so watch out for cycling and AGITATION! It will also worsen your anxiety, so be aware of that. If you need it however, ask for it. You can't function like that. Also, my pdoc DID mention something like Ritalin or Adderall on a very short term basis, but said they start with some Provigil first.
I have ADHD too, and I am not treated for it because of my BP. Sucks.
Good luck!
