So proud of you, Jen. It is amazing how far you've come in a such a short while. I'm still in awe that you managed to quit smoking, too!! Seriously, I've got to get my head to that place, too. It was much easier getting rid of xAP. :smileywink:

You sound like you have found stengths within you, you probably didn't even know you had. That happens to many people. They are so used to having others do it for them, or are walking through life making excuses for themselves and their failures, that when push come to shove they discover just how strong they really are. I'm not saying this happened in your case...just that I've seen this happen to many people over my lifetime...myself included.

Be where you are; otherwise you will miss your life. ~ Buddha

Thank you alwayst:) All of you on the board give me daily strenght and courage to keep fighting through. I will be forever grateful that I reached out for support. For so long I either didn't want to or didn't think I could become a healthier person mentally or physically and now that I am trying to see life differently and practice my life in better ways I feel that I will have more to offer to my kids and to myself. It's still an upward battle but one I am finally thankful for:) Smoking had become my whole life, I lived for it, craved it, made it my one true friend and only wanted to be with it on my own. I rarely engaged with anyone! I think everyone has different reasons for smoking and it has been very interesting to talk with people on their reasons. For some who have quit they found it very easy to quit and I have had to dig deeper to find my reasons because I have found it hard to quit. It's hard but it's another battle I am grateful for:)

Thank you iddy:) I myself did kick and scream that life was unfair. All my troubles were everyone elses fault and it wasn't until the fallout of the affair two years ago that I felt something shifted inside of me. I continued on in the affair and prolonged my pain until 59 days ago and will be forever grateful to all of you amazing and beatiful women and men for your
wisdom and support. I am grateful for this rocky climb and I am grateful for your admiration iddy it means so much to come from a woman I admire so much as well as admiring everyone else on EAS:)
