I don't agree with this at all.
I too have concerns on what problems this will cause with insurance companies.
I think the insurance companies are already looking for a way to go back to saying no to any kind of weight loss surgery, and this will be their hammer. I agree with the others, right now you HAVE to be committed to changing your lifestyle and eating habits or you aren't going to be approved for the surgery. It's enough now that they look at your age before approval to even begin the process.
