I have been wearing maternity clothes for a while--since 6 or 7 weeks. When I was having morning sickness, I couldn't stand to have anything even remotely snug on my stomach so I opted for the maternity clothes even if they were loose. They are starting to fit better these days though.
I did wear a suit the other day that I wore pre-preg but I couldn't zip the pants up all the way and had to wear a bellaband. I was not comfortable at all!!
I'm still wearing pre-pregnancy clothes, I just rarely button my jeans. I've always worn looser fitting shirts, so it's coming in handy now that I have so many of them.
Solidly in maternity pants and have been since about 6 weeks. I didn't necessarily need them that early but they were more comfortable than my mother clothes so I made the switch. Now, there's not a chance in you-know-where my pre-preg. pants would fit. I am still wearing a few of the same shirts I wore pre-preg although they're stretched a little bit more now ;) I need to stock up on some new maternity shirts!!!
I'm still wearing my pre-preggo clothes, but I'm fluffy and won't look preggo for quite a while. I have pulled out a few of my longer and looser tops, because the regular tops just seem a little shorter than I'd like lately.
I had just lost 20 lbs, thx weight watchers... Hehe... I was actually in the process of packing up all my size 12's because they were hanging on me..... Then boom, pregnant. Good thing I hadn't gone out to buy a new wardrobe.... My 12's are still a bit baggy, but they will do......
I'm pretty much totally in maternity clothes now. I don't think I neccessarily need to be but its just so darn comfortable I really WANT to be. I have gained about 3 lbs so far and I definitely am seeing a little baby pooch but I'm really enjoying it!!! I love these comfy clothes!

I've been in maternity pants since about 7 weeks because none of my prepreggers jeans or fat jeans couldn't button.

Some of my bigger pre-preggo clothes still fit, but I've bought some bigger sizes to get me through for awhile.
