Do other people's weight loss/fitness accomplishments motivate you?

When you read stories of other people's amazing weight loss or awesome fitness accomplishments..does it really motivate you and inspire you to try harder or discourage you because you feel you can't ever measure up?
Oh, it absolutely motivates me!
It's a bit of both, isn't it? It motivates me, but there's a part of me that isn't sure I can accomplish as much in the same amount of time (which is silly, because I have in the past - it just took time to get to a point where I started to lose the weight.)
I don't read about other people's weight loss... it holds no interest for me unless I know them personally.
CL for "
It neither inspires or discourages me.

I have found an old friend on fb who is losing weight and he is very inspiring.
Yes, it motivates me very much. It's about time for me to pick up a Weight Watchers magazine and read the inspirational stores they publish.
