Feeling very down. Have been for a while. Taking my 1000 mg of depakote and am so tired. Dr said should regulate within a month. Not happy with it. I feel like I am crap. Want to curl up. Thought about ways to kill myself this weekend. Could take my dhs diabetes meds and have my blood sugar drop out. But dont want to die just to disappear for a long time.

((((Jen))))
I'm sorry you are not doing well today...seems to be that way for a lot of people today.
Does pdoc know how you are truly feeling on the depakote?
God could not be everywhere, so
Jen,
I know exactly how you feel.
Talk to pdoc...when I'm on too much mood stablizers I always feel "too down".
Hang in there, please! It will and DOES get better, I promise!!!
It generally does take about 4 weeks to feel the true effects, but some people are more or less sensitive to each medication, so definitely talk to your pdoc, okay?
Love and Hugs,
Keli
(((((((Jen))))) I understand where you are at. And Donna and Keli are both 100% right. You need to talk to your pdoc asap and tell him about the thoughts and the lack of improvment. If the pdoc doesn't know than he can't help you hon. And that's not fair to you.
My pdoc upped mine over the phone to 1000 every other night and 750 on the alternating nights. I was initially on 750. I realized after I had started this alternating thing, that without a written script, I was gonna be in big trouble, as I would run out before I'd be able to refill. So, I stopped the alternating and stayed at 750.
So maybe yours needs to be tweeked a bit. But, please talk to pdoc and vent here if you need to. But don't disappear on us please?
Hugs & Love,
Traci
