Actually had a good day today

Just doing my now almost daily check in. I'm getting better at this!

My day actually went really well dispite having my meds go really bonkers. I had a call on Friday that I made sure and followed up today with and the customer almost gave me a kudos she was so happy with what I did. Kinda made me feel like it was kind of worth while to work there.

I have a couple of appointments tomorrow. First I'm meeting with my support worker. I might ask her if she'd like to go shopping. (My support worker is only a few years older than me.) There's a DVD I would like that's comming out tomorrow and maybe she'll want to come with me.

I'm also going to see my family doctor about getting further testing. My prolactin levels are sky high and I may need a CAT scan. (Proclactin is what produces breast milk and when you're a 20 year old virgin, it's kind of scary when milk is being produced.) But it's probably another reaction to my medications.

I've come completely of the Epivalve and the Resparidol now. My shaking still hasn't gone yet, but it's getting better. I see my pdoc again on Wendsday as I need to be monitored. I'm now going to be on Lamictal. If anybody has information on it, I wouldn't mind getting an insite into it.

Anyway, I better be off. I'll be back to read tomorrow at some point. :)

Hey you! Glad you had a good day! Those are nice, huh?

I just came off Risperdal too and I'm finally getting up to dose on Lamictal. I love love love Lamictal. It takes a LONG LONG LONG time to get up to dose on it, for it to kick in, but its so worth the wait.

Good luck, honey! Keep us posted.

Have fun shopping.

Hugs,

Keli

Glad you had a good day. I was on resperdal recently and it caused me to shake/tremor like crazy. Not sure it did much to quiet the "voices," which is my biggest problem, but I was so uncomfortable with the shaking I eventually went off it. I'm now taking trileptal and paxil which seems to help. I'm not sure I couldn't be better, but I know I could be worse, so we'll hold here.

I just read Keli's post above about lamactil and she's lovin' it!

Here's to another great day! Love, Mo.

Thanks for everybody's information. I'm glad it's a highly recomended medication.

Well I saw my family doctor and I have to get a CAT scan. That should be fun and hopefully there will be nothing wrong with me. I also ended up getting my flu shot, which is actually turning out to be a pain in my arm. My social worker had to reschedual our appointment, but that's OK. I didn't get my DVD, but I bought a new coat instead. (Them early Canadian winters, I tell you.)

I crossed paths with my ex. My day kinda just went down from there. At least I'm not getting any difficult calls (knock on wood) and I only had to work for four and a half hours today.

Thanks for everybody's encouragement!
