With all my other "excitement", I almost forgot!

It's chilly and rainy here, but the weatherman has promised the rain is supposed to stop by around 3.

We had a parade in our neighborhood for the kids yesterday. Tonight will be the normal trick or treating. My DH will take the girls since I sprained my ankle over the weekend. I plan on sitting on the porch with my witch hat on and a bowl of candy. My oldest DD also had a parade at school today. It was so much fun for all of us. I feel in a funk because of other problems at her school but I am hoping seeing my DDs and the other little ones having fun tonight will put me in an up mood.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween.

Alison.

My youngest is going as a skeleton, my middle child a wolf and the oldest is a murder victim with a knife through his head. They will all be going trick or treating tonight with Daddy. I will be at home passing out the candy. It is chilly and supposed to start raining soon, so staying home sounds better to me anyway. I am already really achy, don't want to add to it.

We dont do the trick or treating thing, so we went to the mosque and I let DD wear her Cinderella costume she has. DH stayed home and he said a couple of kids came by and he gave them candy.

We had the parade and the trick-or-treating tonight. I really need to walk more during the other 364 days of the year to prepare for this one night! LOL! DS and DD(12) were both in the parade - on different floats that finished at different times of course;) Can't make it too easy for me. LOL!

DD(12) dressed up as a devil; DS dressed up as a football player and DD(16) dressed up as a "Texan Witch" as she called it......witches robe, blue jeans, cowboy hat, and boots. ROFL! She stayed at home while I took the younger two trick-or-treating after the parade so she could dole out the candy to the 4 or 5 kids that manage to knock on the door.

But now, my feet are killing me and I'm exhausted. May just go to bed early tonight;) I'll check in with everyone in the morning.

Love & Hugs,
Traci
