Dh is sober & out of Librium. So the final drug, the other woman. She extended her return flight until Thurs as dh gets assessed on Fri.

I saw dh momentarily today. He still a mess but I could tell he's sober immediately. He was saying he could not stay here because he feels too guilty. He cannot understand why I would ever want him back. I said because I believe this was a result of a disease. He then told me when he talked to the addictive center last Friday they asked him about bipolar, he now believes this is what this is & he'll talk to them about it more on Friday. He's still looking for an apt, but wants it really close to here.

Once he agreed this could be bipolar I told him I felt 'she' feed the mania. He agreed. But he's still not ready to give her up.

Oh yeah, somewhere in the conversation he did say he's not ready to proceed with the divorce, so I guess that is good news. Although he does display a great deal of anger toward me for closing our joint accounts (even called a lawyer & was told I broke the law) & he still blames me for losing his job. Oh well, not worth arguing while he's in this state of mind.

WED IS MY DAY!!!

I finally found a therapist! I see him on Wed at 11AM. Then at 6:30PM I will be attending my first NAMI support group. Thanks to Halloween it was EASY finding babysitters! Trick or Treat, you busy Wed?

One day at a time.

I know mentally I want to see him more interested in working on our relationship w/in 2w of treatment. I don't see him coming out of this any time soon if he continues to talk to HER, but with him living in an apt how will I ever know it's finally over, if it ever ends? Then, if he continues the relationship even after the mania is over, that's when we start getting into the unforgiveable.

Hanging in there.

((((((((((((Bonnie)))))))))))) I'm very happy that you found both a tdoc and a NAMI group to attend! Awesome steps toward helping you and your family!

As for dh and his friend, like you said it has to be one day at a time. Sometimes we have to even go to one hour at a time. With him in
