I just wanted to tell you some stuff I know about Flylady and I figured I would put it up here so maybe someone else might benefit and not many people look down in the weight folder.
Anyways, first and foremost...it WILL NOT work if you are not somewhat stable. I have been trying to follow it off and on for almost a year and only managed to really get things going for about a month when I first got on meds, the first time I had a depressive episode, it all went to you know where. I think its a really great system and it does work, its just hard to follow unless you are somewhat stable.
As far as the emails go, there are about 25 a day...but you can just delete the ones you dont want and only focus on the ones you do want, or I think there is a digest option where you get everything in one email.
She sends the emails basically as reminders throughout the day to stay focused on what you need to accomplish. One will say to shine your sink, one will be to put in a load of laundry, one will be to go for a walk...stuff like that. When I was on top of things with her system, the emails really helped me because I cant remember crap, so I would flat out forget things and without getting that email I would just not do things I had planned to do. But since you work, it might be easier to do the digest email...or you can buy her book...its called Sink Reflections by Marla Cilley. It has the whole thing detailed in there and you dont even have to get the emails, and if you have questions you can just go to the website and find out what you want to know...the website address is www.flylady.net
