Very bummed today for a strange reason

...I have been reading my fibro for dummies book and I now don't think that is what I have. Maybe my mom is right and until I go on a gluten free diet for my celiac disease, I just won't feel better. Problem is that is really hard for me since I won't make my family eat gf. Plus when i was doing it, I did not feel any better and I did it for a year. I even had follow up blood work done which was negative, which means I was following the diet right.

Can you tell I am sore today. Thanks for letting me vent. Gotta go. Youngest just touched my middle childs urine stream. does the fun ever end?

Missy,

Get an appt. with a rheumatologist, as they can tell more definitively if you have FMS, lupus or one of the similar disorders; but I'd also follow up on the celiac too.

I am not currently on the diet. It is just too hard for me to stick to. I know that I need to be and that I will have to be at some point. I was tested for Lupus, among a ton of other things and I know that everything besides fibro is negative. I also have conflicting reports from a rhuemy and a neurologist on whether I have fibro or not, hence the hesitation to go to yet another doctor. My medical bills from last year buried us and until I go on a gluten free diet, I will not spend the money on more doctors. I already have $40 copay per pdoc visit, $50 copay per tdoc visit and $150 in rx's per month. I just can't afford anything else right now. I may start the diet again and see how I feel in a month. You are supposed to see results pretty quickly. Thanks for the thoughts.
