You’ve made up your mind to end it and now ALL of your actions need to follow and support that. We all used a lot of words during our A. They seemed magical and every hello seemed so meaningful. At some point, the words lose their luster and seem void and empty. That is because there was so little action to back them up and/or even contradicting actions to match the words.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
As E1 said, learn to identify those triggers and then have a plan in action as to how you are going to combat them. Re-read Jane's 48 hours rule in the Healing Library and go over the rules for NC until they sink into your head. Perhaps now you have realized that "expecting" something to turn out the way you were hoping it would, simply sets you up for more hurt and disappointment. From what I've been reading lately, those of you breaking NC seem to have XAP's who know how to maintain it. Remember, this is a gift they are giving you even if it feels quite the contrary. Now it's time to give this gift back.
NC=No New Hurts.
Two more days till Xmas so lets all get in that gift giving mood, okay?
