Anyone have to have bloodwork for

liver damage because of cymbalta? I was sent for bloodwork last week as a precaution, per the manurfacturer's instructions. Is this common? What kind of damage does it do? I hate the idea of going off of it, but don't want to permanently damage myself either.

i take cymbalta & no one has ever taken any blood from me.
maybe its in the dosage.how much are you taking?i was just kicked up to 60 & precautions for liver damage or bloodwork werent even mentioned to me.
i wouldn't worry unless you have a history of liver problems or take a high dose.
anyone else know?

I take 60 but it was not even mentioned until this past appointment, after I had already been on it a while. It is not an excessively high dose nor do I have any history of liver problems. Oh well, guess I will know to ask at my next appt. Thanks for the response. How was your Thanksgiving?
