Heather,

Don't EVER apologize for 'whining'!!! That's why we're all here together! To help each other however we can...and listening and supporting and letting each other know we aren't alone is what we do best.

I'm sorry its bad for you right now...just keep doing what you can to get as much rest as possible (i know, i know...). Post to us when its really bad...talking it out helps...even if you just say, I DON'T FEEL GOOD!

Love and Hugs,

Keli

you're doing better than i would be if i were you.
as for the baby, that sounds like a mean gas pain.
are you anti pacifier?i mean...even tho at her age you'd have to hold it in her mouth anyway...i ask b/c my second had pains like that & someone gave me something called "gripewater"...i would NEVER have used it on my first being a paranoid parent then but rachel was so bad i would've done anything...but instead of giving her doses of this stuff called gripewater i would dip a pacifier in it.it broke up the gas like magic.
just a thought for future episides cause it beats throwing the baby out the window(KIDDING!)i had 3 in diapers so i commiserate.
also with rachel i found a pdoc....althe way in manhatten & i didn't drive either.so once a month it would be a family pilgrimage.
(btw..i'm only telling you all this b/c i hope something in my story will either help or help you AVOID a future hurdle....)she was a doc i had seen years before.the FIRST thing she prescibed was a light box...an expensive lamp for light therapy...let me tell you..if i still had it i would happily send it to you.i can't tell you if it helped or if i even had the time to sit under the lamp or a space to put it.
i gave it to a woman(a therapist actually)with post partum years ago.
when she started me on meds i was still nursing but i beleive she started me on something stronger & i stopped nursing so quickly that not only was rachel angry about it(she was over 8 months old & eating solids so i thought my body could handle it)BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!OW OW OW OW OW................................................
i have to tell you that one thing you have on your side is that you are educated about your condition.
stay that way.
this dr....knowing my history(remember i was diagnosed epileptic as well)actually prescribed wellbutrin!no-no!
i really really do know how you feel.it should be easier that it is to find help.
you WILL find it
right now you are being hit with a trple whammy.
let your family be there for YOU.they arent going to hold it against you.EVER!
