sending the baby home AGAIN..
with nits in her hair.
she's also calling the older girls in to check them.i cleaned my girls out over the weekend b/c my oldest bribed the baby to rub heads with her so she could miss school but didn't share it with the nurse.
the nurse swears mine are the only kids in the entire school with recurring live.
how can that be when it was on the news that it is all over new york?
this is just the thing i need for my nervous breakdown.but i do not feel like sharing this with my pdoc who for now i am in daily contact with untill my next appt.
i had such a huge fight w/ h about it i told him to stay home & deal with it because i was at the end.i was at the head shaving stage & he purpourted himself to be such a huge expert but still did nothing about it while i washed heads w/ pestisides & sheets day after day & bagged toys & blankets & he inspected & combed nits only when he felt like it.
my mother told me to bomb the house...but hey it's winter & i've got animals but she also told me to go ahead & dye the kids hair even if my mil law calls it child abuse.
i can't take it.
they are missing school thinking its a big party & i am just exhausted & i am starting to feel like the lice lady.

Oh Suzi! I'm so sorry, honey! You cannot break down, period!!! Its just not allowed.

I had a friend whose girls kept getting lice over and over again too...instead of cutting their hair, she dyed it too...I would dye it a color close to their own color and to heck with MIL. My friends girls hair was long and it was very hard to get rid of...

I do NOT believe the school saying your girls are the ONLY ones who have it...I just don't...usually if one has it, most do too...

Sorry the older ones are being brats...and that dh is too...

Wish I could help! Hang in there...

Love and Hugs,

Keli

I went through that when I had all 6 at home, no running water.. Even I had them. Good thing it was in the spring, all 5 of the boys got thier head shaved and washed in the quell. Then my daughter and I after washing in the quell, washed it in kerosene.. I must have hauled 50 loads to the laundrymat.. well not 50

Anyway good luck, I know how hard it is and how it makes you feel. {{{}}}

oh eeeek.i don't feel bad at all now.THAT'S bad.ouch.
yeah..i told h that if he didn't deal with it today he'd come home & have 3 bald girls.
i've been doing the washing heads & washing stuff & remaking beds & he's supposedly been doing the delousing but today admitted he's been lax in his daily duties.
if i'd had a gun i'd a shot him
anyway.he made enough of a stink at school that the school decided to check all the students.
guess what.
half of em went home.
i could have predicted that.
somehow when i say it they just don't hear me.

I wish I had known about the hair dye trick when I was little and got lice. My hair was extremely long and thick back then and we had to hack a good foot off it to get the job even remotely started. (And when I say it was long, it was long...try several inches past my behind.)
