So I guess they just happen to go into mania together, good grief.

Wow, what are the odds hey? Sometimes I think the OW my DH was seeing is bipolar too, but who knows. I hope you and the kids are doing alright.
Take care,

God could not be everywhere, so
It's funny as H psychiatric nurse was talking to me & I told her how they talked for 7 hours straight when she called my H for the first time. The nurse said that is a sign of mania & wondered what MI the OW suffered herself to be able to keep up with my H.
I remember even in my therapy appt we talked of the possibility.
H would tell me how they talked for hundreds of hours & complained how he & I could never do that. Well, I think most people just do not have the energy or the creativity to be able to talk so much.
All of this makes more sense now.
The OW's mother was going to try to talk her son into driving up here last night (approx 14 hr drive) to come and get the OW. The mother is also telling my H he needs to stop talking to the OW if he wants to repair our marriage. She says she'll continue to work on her daughter to stop calling my H, but until then he needs to stop answering her calls & let her brother take care of the OW from here. They're thinking the OW will be released from the hospital today, so hopefully we've come to an end. But only time will tell for sure.
At my MI support group last night (meets once a month) was impressed to hear how far my H has come in getting help for himself in the past month. This was encouraging to hear as I feel like we've been treading water.
