psssht. I am now 15 lbs heavier than I was at 9 mo pregnant, so dont feel alone. I am not stable nor strong at this moment, I just know what I need to do and I know how you all feel, so you guys are kinda being my strength, if that makes any sense. This whole exercising thing is making me feel like I am accomplishing things though. I am so out of it that I forgot what day it was and never studied for an exam because I thought it was another day, so I failed one of them, which blows, but it could be worse. I should still pass the class.
I am manic, so thats probably why I sound so good. I havent taken my meds regularly in a good 3 weeks. I just never think about it anymore. Its like my brain does one thing at a time, either its school or exercise or taking my meds or something else, but only ONE thing can get done on a regular basis. I think alot of it is because of my brain surgery issues, but I cant let that be my reason to fail yanno?
Anyways I love you and I am glad you are at least attempting to get on "the machine" LOL :)
Ok, so I'm reading lots of posts, well trying to anyways. :)
I've done Weight Watchers before, did it with my ex-h and his mom. The main thing is just to read labels. You don't have to buy fancy food. I very rarely cook from recipes hehehe.. I cook what I know and control serving size. Recipes are complicated and take a lot of junk no one has in their house normally, well unless you're Martha Stewart.
I labeled EVERYTHING in the house with points. Get out that permanent marker and write on everything you find. It helps to see the points. I, also, found a trick that worked really well was to buy snacky stuff and put a serving into baggies and label it with points, then I knew I could eat one baggie full and I wasn't tempted to eat more b/c the whole bag of stuff wasn't there.
After a while of figuring out points you'll get to the point where you can make an educated guess as to the points in something, I haven't done Weight Watchers in years and I can still look at a label and tell you about how many points are in it.
I just read your other post to me in my journal thingy...nope didn't go.
God could not be everywhere, so
