So, I go to fill my prescription for Lexapro and guess what.. its not covered.. EXCUSE ME?!?!?!

The dr. can override, since the insurance company would like you to try a generic anti-depressant first, but my dr. wants me on an SSRI for OCD. But, even then its going to be $45/month. My Lamictal is already $30.

So, now somehow I have to squeeze $75 out of my budget for medication instead of just $30?!? What happened to real insurance coverage and WTH happened to drs who were willing to figure out a fix that has a generic?!?!

My kids are driving me insane. This afternoon, I got Christine to sleep, got Natalie fed lunch and down for a nap, then Christine was awake, got Christine back to sleep and Natalie was being naughty and not sleeping (she ripped part of the border paper in her room down (its halfway up the wall), so I get her settled down and Christine wakes back up.

I can't keep functioning like this. Last night, Christine did this sleep for a short time and I asked dh to get up with her at 11 (not real late so it would affect his ability to get up for work) and he just said "what?" (he was still asleep). Tried several times, finally got up and yelled at him and he threw a pillow.. I know it was out of frustration and he meant it just to fly across the room and get out some frustration but it hit me in the face, so at this point I've lost it (just a pillow, but not what I needed right that second.)

I'm so frustrated. I'm ready to give up, completely. I'm, also, ready to just give up on the medications, since they don't seem to be working and they are starting to add up to way too much.

OH honey! Just wanted to give you hugs...you sound totally exhausted!

My pdoc always tries to get me on meds that have generics, but right now, my Lamictal is $40, my Topamax is $25, and my Ativan is $10...its been a LOT worse though...ugh.

Hang in there, okay?

We love you!
